City of Youth decided to take hunger and child nutrition into their own hands by acquiring a commercial kitchen space called The Kitchen. At The Kitchen, we self prep and portion nutritional meals, providing healthy, fresh food for our community.

We also provide safe, healthy and nutritional practices to ensure proper feedings and nutritional availability for children and young adults. We serve both individuals and families who would not normally have access to these more expensive options. Whether we’re serving one individual or one hundred, it’s our mission to ensure no child or young adult is hungry. City of Youth is helping to change the quality of everyday meals, nourishing both the mind and body of South LA’s youth.

City of Youth is in need of a new commercial oven for our Food Program. A commercial oven is essential for preparing and serving hot, nutritious meals for children and young adults in our community.
